Breedlove Organic Collection Artista Concerto All Solid Acoustic-Electric Guitar Description Breedlove Organic Collection Artista Concerto All Solid Acoustic-Electric Guitar This guitar is a used item we got directly from Breedlove. The reason it is called used is that it was returned to Breedlove and cannot be sold again as new. This one has a scuff on the tip of the headstock, and on the treble side where the fretboard meets the cutaway. It also has a foggy finish on the bass side of the headstock and a groove in the bass side of the neck by the 15th fret. The photos you see in this ad are actual photos of the one you will get. The highly varied color patterns of the Oregon myrtlewod is accentuated by the thin UV Natural Shadow Burst finish. The FSC Certified European spruce top results in a more mature sound and tone. Additionally, torrefied tops are less susceptible to movement with humidification changes. Easy access to all frets with soft cutaway design Breedlove engineered their soft cutaway design to offer the smoothest, most comfortable access to the highest register. The soft cutaway design allows access to all 20 frets of the Breedlove Artista Concerto. The unique design of Breedlove’s soft cutaway balances the higher energy treble notes with the lower energy bass tones. Additionally, Breedlove chose a hard rock maple neck for the Organic Collection Artista Series. A denser wood than mahogany, the hard rock maple neck further boosts the high-energy sound of this Artista Concerto model. Breedlove Natural Sound electronics The Breedlove Artista Concerto acoustic-electric cutaway model is equipped with Breedlove’s Natural Sound electronics. Natural Sound electronics feature soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, plus easy battery replacement. Thin UV finish on a large Concerto body The Breedlove Artista Concerto features a significantly thinner UV-finished top. The thin UV-finished top reduces weight and also contributes to a more complex sound with sustained overtones. Additionally, Breedlove’s Concerto body provides the rich and robust sound of a classic dreadnought. Other special features of the Breedlove Artista Concerto acoustic-electric include forward X bracing, brass inlays, gold frets, gold tuners and walnut body binding. The fretboard and bridge are also made from sustainably sourced African ebony.
