Get in Touch Forge Motorsport Turbo Blanket for Mercedes A-Class A45AMG W176 2013-2015 Check Out Our Feedback Product Description This listing is for a Mercedes A-Class A45AMG W176 2013 – 2015. Forge Motorsport Part Number: FMTUBL9. This turbo blanket should be fitted OVER the existing OEM heat shield The Forge Motorsport FMTUBL9 has been designed for the Mercedes A45, GLA, CLA AMG stock turbo chargers. This turbo blanket is designed to isolate the radiant heat produced by the turbocharger by further insulating the OE heat shield, the Forge turbo blanket also incorporates further protection to the engines down pipe. This design has been created to withstand the harshest of environments and proven to withstand temperatures up to 1370°C (2500°F) of radiant heat, which will assist in protecting and prolonging the life of engine components. Design innovation keeps the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger, away from the cool side and the intake path which helps reduce turbo lag and air intake temperatures resulting in more power. Simple to fit using existing OEM hardware. Please note that a turbo blanket will lose its flexibility over the first few heat cycles as the material cures, so once fitted it should not be routinely removed as this can cause damage to the blanket. If an item is faulty, or has been sent incorrectly by fault of Larkspeed, then we will reimburse the full price paid including any shipping. However if you have ordered the wrong part, or simply do not require the item any more, then you will be refunded minus our shipping charges, and minus any applicable handling charge.
