This set is an exceptional choice for collectors or model railroad enthusiasts looking to enhance their layout with accurate Soo Line units.Collection Background: These locomotives are part of a well-maintained collection that included over 550 locomotives and 5,000 cars. The original collector took great care in preparing for a comprehensive model layout before passing, leaving most items in excellent or near-new condition. This particular F7A and F7B Diesel Locomotive set has been preserved with care, retaining its original quality and striking appearance.Condition: These locomotives are in generally excellent condition with vibrant detailing. However, please note that one side of the B unit (Car #2202-C) has minor damage where part of the door frame appears to have torn off. This area is circled in yellow in one of the photos for easy reference. The damage does not impact the locomotive’s operational functionality, and it remains securely housed in its original protective case.Maintenance Note: As with any model locomotives stored for an extended period, a light lubrication service is recommended before regular use to ensure optimal performance.
