They are used military surplus that may be over 50 years old and may have been shipped across the world. If you’re looking for something perfect this may not be for you. In the case of my military surplus items I would like to stress that you are purchasing military surplus from around the world. Unless the item states that it is new, NOS condition in packaging items in non or un-issued condition can be 50 years old or more. They will not show wear or signs of use but they have been stored for years and shipped around the world so they will show signs of storage and may have that military surplus smell. U.S. Military Woodland Camo Combat Coat/Jacket Size Small/Regular Grade 1 condition If you are not familiar with U.S. Military sizing they are pretty much one whole size over-sized. I.E. the Smalls will fit a standard U.S. Size Medium. I don’t believe that these were ever worn but I will just call them excellent, lightly used condition. They show no wear, damage or signs of use. May have some minor soiling from long term storage but it will wash right out. The Small/Regular is marked for a chest size 33 to 37 but they are made over-sized. For a height of 67″ to 71″. NATO Size 7080/8494. The chest measures app. 22 1/2″ pit to pit or 45″ measured all the way around the jacket just below the armpits. Shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 18″. Sleeves measure 24″ from the outer edge of the shoulder seam to the tip of the sleeves on the Edgar Industries version and 23″ on the American Apparel version. Length is app. 30″ for the Edgar Industries version and 28″ on the American Apparel version. These should fit a standard U.S. Size Medium well and be very roomy for a U.S. Standard size Small. Please note that the American Apparel versions are 50% Cotton 50% Nylon Ripstop. The Edgar Industries version is 52% Nylon and 48% Cotton and isn’t marked Ripstop but it does appear to be a ripstop material to me. Please use the photos and the zoom feature as part of the description and to determine exactly what you are getting.
