RARE VINTAGE 1960s HO LARGE SCIENTIFIC RACEWAYS SLOT CAR POWER PACK TRANSFORMER RARE 1960s HO LARGE SCIENTIFIC RACEWAYS SLOT CAR POWER PACK TRANSFORMER HO 1/32 1/24 Vintage Aurora Thunder Jet T-Jet HO Slot Car Power Supply Transformer DC-6 RARE 1960’s HO LARGE SCINTILLA SLOT CAR POWER PACK TRANSFORMER FOR: HO 1/32 1/24 SCALE CARS – FOR DISPLAY ONLY. Description RARE 1960’s HO LARGE SCINTILLA SLOT CAR POWER PACK TRANSFORMER FOR: HO 1/32 1/24 SCALE CARS. It must be a rare one because I could find NO similar ones on the internet. It has both fixed DC and AC power output terminals. Made by SCINTILLA RAIL AND POWER WORKS, INC. It has a Large Power Transformer and Rectifier. Transformer’s info is: GE Company, 15-volt 180 VA. I bench test the output and the no-load values were: 17.5 VDC and 19.6 VAC. (It even has power to run Lionel O gauge trains.) The holes in the case are for ventilation. I was told it was used to power a Multi-lane Huge Slot Car 1/24 Scale Layout. It should also work with 1/87, 1/24, 1/32, 1/48 scale cars such as Stromberg, Tyco, Atlas, Aurora, AFX, Life-like and many others ***WARNING***It is sold for display or parts or repair because it does not have the protective case bottom and you should not use it without a FULL METAL CASE to protect you from electrical shock.
