The Vita-mix 4000 series was the last of the 100% USA made machines and the last of the all chrome/stainless steel machines. Anyone who has them has loved them, great looking, lots of power, awesome reliability (the motors seem to last forever). But then the blade drive breaks on the stainless steel container and they realized Vita-mix corporation no longer has parts or repairs them. The other issues are the new modern plastic machines blend much better and have more containers for specialty blending available. The Vita-King comes to the rescue, after many years we have perfected the transformation of these great ole classic machine to accept all the new modern containers and to accept the new modern heavy duty blades into the best ever built container The super heavy duty Stainless Steel container. You see the problem was not with the motors but with the original blades that came with the original machine. The 40 year old technology was very good (40 years ago) however modern computer designed blades perform and blend so much better today. Also the original machines were designed and built for only one container. Now with our conversion kit these classic heavy duty machines will now accept all the modern containers and more importantly the high performance blades. In this listing we have the great heavy duty all chrome steel all American 4000 base, completely rebuilt so it performs exactly like new, combined with two containers. The first one is the all original stainless steel, modernized with the heavy duty commercial blade and 32oz modern everyday use smaller container with the high performance 8 knife super blade. With these two containers, this machine will now blend exactly like the modern plastic, mostly made overseas machines. You now will have the great nostalgic machine, great looking and great talking point to anyone who is over to look at it. It performs fantastic just like the modern machines. Since it was built during a time in America when things were built to last, it will outlast all the new modern machines. Parts that are needed for repairs down the road (i.e. blades) are easy to get and replace. ATTENTION…PLEASE CHECK OUT ALL OF OUR ITEMS FOR YOUR VITAMIX MACHINE THIS ITEM INCLUDES A SPECIALLY DESIGNED SUPER SHARP MODERN COMMERCIAL BLADE FOR YOUR 4000/3600+ MACHINE. TO USE THE ORIGINAL BLADE WOULD BE LIKE CUTTING A TOMATO WITH THE BACK EDGE OF THE KNIFE. THE KNIFES ALSO HAVE DIFFERENT BENDS TO CREATE THE BEST VORTEX FOR ALL TYPES OF BLENDING. THE 4 SHARP POINTS OF THE BLADE WILL ALSO BLEND DRY GRAINS AND MAKE GREAT NUT-BUTTERS. The 3600/4000 machines are truly great machines, they were the last of the 100% USA built machines. The Stainless Steel containers were hand built in multiple machine shops in the Midwest back in the 70’s and 80’s. The motors are over 40 years old high powered great running machines.
